How To Install Akshara Siri-ಕನ್ನಡ Keylayout
1. Download the file and unzip the archive (Akshara Siri-ಕನ್ನಡ.zip).
2. Double-click the DMG file called "Akshara Siri-ಕನ್ನಡ.dmg." In the window that opens, Akshara Siri-ಕನ್ನಡ.
3. Drag Akshara Siri-ಕನ್ನಡ to the Keyboard Layouts folder.You might be asked to enter the admin password.
Activating Akshara Siri-ಕನ್ನಡ Keylayout
1. Go to Apple menu > System Preferences > Keyboard > Input Sources. Then click the + plus button on the bottom left, scroll down and select Others. From the sidebar select Akshara Siri-ಕನ್ನಡ then click the Add button. And also check "Show input menu in menu bar".
2. At the upper right of your screen(System menu bar), click the flag icon or keyboard input source, and select Akshara Siri-ಕನ್ನಡ. Now you can type Kannada on any editing application.
